Sam focuses his practice on civil litigation. He earned his law degree from Campbell University, where he was recognized as a Dean’s Excellence Academic Scholar. While in law school, Sam acted as a legal writing teaching assistant. Additionally, through participation in law clinics, he provided legal assistance to individuals in the Raleigh-Durham community.
Prior to attending law school, Sam worked as a back-country guide in Colorado taking clients into the Uncompahgre and Weminuche Wilderness on multi-week excursions. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Sewanee: The University of the South in Environmental Policy.
Outside of work, Sam can be found enjoying time with his wife Megan, learning new recipes, tending to his garden, and exploring the Great State of North Carolina on his mountain bike or with his fly rod.
